1991 was a common year starting on Tuesday of the Gregorian calendar in the 20th century. During this year, music producer Ramon Zenker and DJ Oliver Bondzio first met and began working together. They formed Hardfloor, put out their first single “Let Da Bass Go” on Sven Väth’s Eye Q label, began a prolific career of over 40 singles, EPs and albums, and created a whole new future for global techno.

In 1992, they produced what is to this day indisputably one of the most influential techno singles of all time – the “Hardtrance Acperience EP”, the eighth 12” release on Sven Väth’s Harthouse label.

Hardfloor, the German duo who are one of the iconic items of electronic music alongside biggies like Richie Hawtin or Josh Wink, are one mesmerizing duo. Their skills are constantly in demand by other artists who want their music to have that Hardfloor edge – Oliver and Ramon have remixed almost everyone from Depeche Mode to New Order, to Anne Clarke and Yello. Their remixing successes ever further prove that their style has a timeless, original, everlasting quality that is appealing across genres.

Hardfloor recently released their 8th full-lenght album called “Two Guys, Three Boxes” on their own label and also a three cd compilation “Two Decades of Hardfloor” documents twenty years of Ramon and Oliver’s collaborative effort in giving the world some of its best techno music.
