DJ Bacid has been active as a promotor, DJ and journalist since 1999 in the Malmö area, plus arranging clubs in Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Berlin.
As a journalist Behrang wrote articles in Dagens Nyheter’s culture page about Amsterdam Dance Event, origins of acid house and detroit techno. He also wrote about where to find the decadence in Berlins clubscene for the newspaper Sydsvenskan. He has been interviewing a who-is-who list of leading electronic artists such as Derrick May, A Guy Called Gerald, Kenny Larkin, Thomas Fehlmann (The Orb), Cristian Vogel, Ellen Alien, Jesper Dahlbäck and more. As a DJ, he has been the opening act to many of them.
Some of these legends are now a part of his lovechild, We Manage With Love. As a DJ he has giged various summer festivals, Berlin clubs such as Arena and Dice, aside many more in Copenhagen and Malmö. Some of the latest gigs include festival Way Out West festival (together with Jon da Silva), Fete de la Musique Berlin (together with Ian Pooley), Röda Sten (together with Jesper Dahlbäck) and Inkonst (togehter with Technasia) and also being opening act for A Guy Called Gerald (Röda Sten, Gothenburg).
